ISU Coming Events, April 6- April 23
The Idaho State University Office of Marketing and Communications distributes this event calendar to let the public and media know about upcoming non-athletic events at the University. This information is intended for release in print and broadcast events calendars. Various events calendars with more complete information are available online at the website www.isu.edu/calendar. Wednesday, April 6
· Xtreme Bulls: Taking place in the ISU Holt Arena at 7 p.m. come watch over 40 bull riders compete on some of the toughest bulls in the country. This event is part of the Wrangler Million Dollar Silver Tour Rodeo. Tickets can be purchased online at www.isu.edu/tickets, over the phone at 282-FANS, in person at the Holt Arena Ticket Office on Mon.-Fri. from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or at either of the two Vickers Western Stores in Pocatello and Idaho Falls.

Thursday, April 7-9
· Wrangler Million Dollar Silver Tour Rodeo: Enjoy three nights of intense rodeo action at the ISU Holt Arena. Performances begin nightly at 7 p.m. and tickets range in price from $10 to $50 depending on seat, age, and night. Tickets can be purchased online at www.isu.edu/tickets, over the phone at 282-FANS, in person at the Holt Arena Ticket Office on Mon.-Fri. from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or at either of the two Vickers Western Stores in Pocatello and Idaho Falls. Saturday, April 9
· Season of Note: Red Chamber-Secrets of the Chinese Court, Passions of the West: This quartet performs fast and furious string music, Imperial Court Classics, and cutting edge creations inspired by traditional Chinese “Plucked String” repertoire that is seldom heard in the West. It is located in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall of the Stephens Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 (lower level), $16 (upper level). Thursday, April 14
· ISU Percussion Ensemble & Steel Band: This concert is located in Goranson Hall in the ISU Fine Arts Building and is free and open to the public. It begins at 7:30 p.m. and goes till 9:15 p.m.

· Institute of Translational Health Science: Translational Science Primer: This is a division of Health Sciences Research Day with the theme “Bridging Research and Practice.” This lecture is located in the Rendezvous Complex from 1:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday. Friday, April 15-16
· Merry Wives of Windsor: Presented by ISU students, come enjoy this famous Shakespeare comedy at the Rogers Black Box Theatre located in the Stephens Performing Arts Center. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $13 for general admission, $7 for high school students and $5 for ISU students. For more information visit www.isu.edu/tickets.

Saturday, April 16
· Monster Truck Grand Nationals: Come enjoy this championship crowning indoor motorsport event located in the ISU Holt Arena. The doors open at 6 p.m. with the pit party at 6:30 p.m. and the show starting at 7:30 p.m. For ticket prices and more information visit www.checkeredflagproductions.com.

· Idaho State Civic Symphony-The Creation – ISU Choirs, Camerata Singers: This concert is located in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall of the ISU Stephens Performing Arts Center and it begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available through the Stephens Box Office or by calling 282-3595. Tickets are $30 (adult) and $15 (18 and under).
